What is Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional Therapy considers food as medicine and that each individual's nutrition needs are unique, using a "whole person" approach. Whole person means linking your nutrition needs to your family background, health history, current lifestyle, environment, work and social interactions, and importantly, how you want to see yourself in the future.
Your nutrition plan is designed to be entirely unique and personalised towards your needs and to achieving your future goals. Coaching can be beneficial alongside your nutrition plan to help remove any barriers to your progress, and for some this can be life changing.
Sometimes food supplements are needed but they are not always necessary.. Biomarker (usually blood tests) and genetic testing is available and can be used to support interventions but much can be gained through nutritional therapy with a "food first" approach and without testing.

Kiran Ekundayo - founder of Kiranutri, is a BANT Registered Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner. The core of her practice focusses on digestive wellbeing and the contribution of inflammatory processes to cardio-metabolic health.
Kiran is trained in the Functional Medicine model, an integrative approach to health, and her post graduate qualifications specialise in one-to-one Personalised Nutrition. She has coached individuals with a broad range of health issues, providing guidance on how a focus on nutrition can promote vitality and optimism for healthy ageing.
Kiran also runs group sessions and workshops for those who want to develop their knowledge of nutrition and healthy eating. She is mindful of individual food legacy and heritage foods, encompassing her Indian, African and British roots and her global travels. Read More......
